Goleta, CA (February 22, 2011)—Optronics®, a leader in the development of innovative medical-grade high definition imaging products for dental microsurgery, introduced the QUINTUS™, a new line of full-featured precision crafted optical c-mount HD video adapters for operating microscopes. The adapters are designed for the integration of the Optronics Microcast HD high definition microscope cameras onto leading brands of dental operating microscopes including Zeiss® and Global® models.

QUINTUS is designed with an industry standard c-mount interface which attaches directly to the c-mount of the Microcast HD camera head. Because the camera head has a lightweight, low-profile design it does not adversely affect the microscope balance.
