new comprehensive image-processing suite included at no charge
with the following Optronics cameras: QuantiFire ®, MacroFire ®, MicroFire ® and MicroFire® monochrome .
PictureFrame® 2.1 is a powerful combination of camera
control and image processing software. Optronics PictureFrame® implements
unparalleled ease-of-use and 48-bit image processing that delivers
stunning color and high bit depth quantitative monochrome image
data from a wide-variety of photomicrography imaging techniques.
PictureFrame® 2.1 combines a simple and elegant GUI for
straightforward camera control with many real-time features
including Auto-Exposure, Real-Time Six Channel User Adjustable
Color Correction for precise color reproduction, Live Pseudo
Coloring that permits the human eye to discriminate in real-time
millions of intensity levels within a monochrome image and
Live Frame Averaging with Motion Compensation Control that
virtually eliminates image artifacts. Other real-time
functions include live Gamma, Brightness, Contrast, and more.
Post processing features include Six Position Image Mixing,
a highly sophisticated imaging tool that effortlessly combines
up to six different image (brightfield or fluorescence) files
of various bit depths for advanced psuedo coloring techniques. Color
Merge, Measurement and Annotation, Image Scripting, Macros
and Report Generation functionality are also included.
PictureFrame® 2.1 is a free upgrade to all Optronics customers
currently using earlier versions of PictureFrame®, or PictureFrame® 2.0
and it's available now for download, online at Optronics.com
